Open Access Solar
We at Inframitra, can fulfil your entire electricity demands by supplying renewable energy from a Solar Power Plant situated at offsite location. This model does not have any limitations of onsite installation i.e. space availability at your premises. Best thing is that Open Access energy tariffs are quite cheaper than the grid tariffs.
While playing their role for conservation of environment, mitigating carbon footprints is one of many reasons for most industries to consider renewable power over conventional power. If you are thinking to cut down your electricity expenses while reducing your carbon footprints without making any upfront cost expenditure like in case of CAPEX model, Open Access power is the right option for you.
Captive Solar
Like CAPEX model, in captive model, the upfront capital investment for setting up a utility scale renewable power plant, is made by the corporate buyers. The buyer owns the renewable power generating plant and the solar power generated is used for the corporate buyer’s self-consumption. Inframitra will construct the plant and handle its operation and maintenance till over the plant life.
This arrangement makes corporate buyers eligible to claim tax benefits through accelerated depreciation as holding the solar assets on its balance sheet. Moreover, unpredictable charges, such as cross-subsidy surcharge and additional surcharge, are waived off in this arrangement, while only Open Access charges from the grid are applicable.
Group Captive Solar
Unlike Captive model, a solar power plant is established for collective usage of produced electricity by one or more corporate users in Group Captive arrangement.
We will set up a solar power plant for corporate buyers where buyer will hold minimum 26 percent of the equity and have to consume minimum 51 percent of the generated electricity under power purchase arrangement (PPA). Like under Captive model, Inframitra will construct the plant and handle its operation and maintenance till over the plant life under group captive arrangement. The buyers can avail open access benefits of a group captive project without being required to completely own the project.
